Top Travel and Local Apps on Android in Chile: Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the travel and local app market on the Android platform in Chile saw varied performance among the top five applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Viajes Falabella experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at 16.8K and reaching a peak of 15.5K by the end of November. Active users showed some decrease from 149K to about 110K by the end of December.

For Airbnb, downloads began at 9.2K in early October and increased significantly to 17.5K by the end of December. The app's active user base also grew from 252K to 274K over the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw consistent weekly downloads, peaking at 12.4K towards the end of December. Active users fluctuated, starting at 226K and ending at 244K.

kupos showed a steady increase in downloads from 3.7K to 12.1K by early December, with active users also rising from 38K to 65K by the end of the quarter.

Despegar: vuelos y hoteles had a varied download trend, starting strong at 11.6K, dipping mid-quarter, and then stabilizing around 7.1K. The active user count increased from 43K to 57K by mid-December, before tapering off to 43K.
